FARMHOUSE

Farmhouse house style, not to be confused with rustic, although there might be some crossover. As I see it, farmhouse style evokes white or shiplap walls, high ceilings, clean wood lines on walls and furniture. It features decor handed down from family members and repurposed vintage items. It's a combination of shabby chic, industrial and farm living. It's nostalgia for a time past. Think of old ceramic crocks becoming a front porch flower pot. It is large clocks, old glass jars, lanterns and big knitted throws.

Farmhouse style is welcoming and live able.
